Where is the new office?
The new address is 55 Jeongui-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 송파구 정의로 55). Following the move, the former Mok-dong office at 151 Mokdongdong-ro, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 양천구 목동동로 151) no longer provides the office’s services. If you need to visit this office, do not use the former address as your destination.
Getting there
The official notice lists these routes. Walking times are approximate:
- Subway: Munjeong Station (문정역), Exit 4; about a 10-minute walk.
- Bus: Munjeong Rodeo Street Entrance stop (문정로데오거리입구); about a 15-minute walk.
- Songpa 02 local bus (송파02): Hillstate Echo Songpa stop (힐스테이트에코송파) or Seoul Korean Medicine Hospital stop (서울한방병원); about a 2-minute walk.
What should you check before visiting?
Check that the office named for your immigration matter is the Seoul Immigration Office, and check the address against the new notice. This announcement concerns that office; it does not mean that every immigration office has moved. For immigration enquiries, the number given in the notice is 1345.
This is a change of premises. The notice does not announce changes to visas, residence status or insurance enrolment requirements. It should not be read as a new eligibility or insurance-coverage rule.
